Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who thrives at the intersection of business,
experimentation, and rapid delivery.
This role focuses on building and releasing small, high-impact frontend features driven by
Optimizing experiments, personalization, and feature flags, in close collaboration with Product,
Marketing, and Analytics teams.
You will be a key contributor in enabling fast, data-driven decisions while maintaining
engineering quality, performance, and scalability.
Roles & Responsibilities
Partner closely with Business, Product, and Growth teams to translate hypotheses and
requirements into quick, production-ready frontend releases
Build and iterate on small, targeted features using Optimizely experiments, feature flags,
and personalization
Implement code-based Optimizely experiments within a modern frontend stack (React /
Next.js)
Ensure experiments are clean, isolated, and reversible with minimal tech debt
Collaborate with Analytics to ensure accurate tracking, event instrumentation, and
experiment measurement
Optimize for page performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Support rapid testing cycles while maintaining high engineering standards
Debug, monitor, and quickly fix issues arising from experiments or releases
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer in production environments
Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar SSR / SPA frameworks
Direct experience working with Optimizely (Web Experimentation, Feature Flags, or
Personalization)
Solid understanding of A/B testing concepts, experiment isolation, and rollout
strategies
Experience collaborating directly with non-technical business stakeholders
Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern styling approaches
(CSS-in-JS, styled-components, etc.)
Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Segment, or similar)
Understanding of performance monitoring and RUM tools
Experience working in high-traffic, consumer-facing applications
Exposure to feature flagging strategies beyond experimentation
