Job Overview:
As part of a global enterprise tech team, you will work with the business, key stakeholders and delivery teams on planning and designing and implementing both manual and automated testing strategies across UI and API layers to improv overall quality assurance practices
You will work in a full stack agile team comprising of Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps experts. You will report to the team manager.
As a Quality Analyst, you will have an accelerated growth path as a QA Lead, Test Architect, Scrum Master career streams
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and execute manual test scripts
Perform testing for project & retests as necessary
Ensure proper test coverage exists based on requirements and design specifications
Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Perform functional and non-functional tests
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure high quality
Define and track quality metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, and execution efficiency
Perform root cause analysis of defects and drive continuous improvement
Reviews and reports complex test results. Defines regression tests for future projects.
Participates in production verification and validation
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Maintain QA documents up-to-date across Sprints
Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
Suggest ways and implement them to improve Agile testing practices
What We’re Looking For
Have a passion for software testing
Understand SDLC, familiar with Agile Methodology
Work experience in web application, API, and Performance testing. (mobile (Android and iOS) and security testing is good to have)
Fair knowledge or hands-on exposure to test automation (UI/API) using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman (Playwright preferred)
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with tools like Postman or similar
Familiarity with development and configuration tools (Git, Jira, etc.)
Familiar with QA processes, understand test methodologies, Unit Test Framework
Must have good written and verbal communication skills to describe the findings
Familiar with documenting the test plans and test processes
Familiar to work with teams located at remote locations.
